About me and my practice

I offer a caring, attentive, supportive space, where we will work together to find a way through your difficulties. My aim is to empower you to find your own way forward and identify what you need to improve your life, emotional wellbeing and build resilience.

I will be interested in your perception of life, how you have come to this view and whether you may want to change outdated beliefs, distorted perceptions or self-defeating attitudes. As you become more self aware and insightful as to what is limiting you, this clearer view can lead you to make different choices, see the possibilities open to you and develop your own ways to move forward with more confidence and optimism.

Experience

I have 13 years' experience of working with adults, specifically with anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, bereavement, loss of health, chronic pain and trauma. Ihave undertaken specific training at Nottingham University to work with NHS referrals.

I have worked in a Women's Centre, Hospice and Cruse Bereavement Care as a supervisor. At present, I take referrals from the NHS, Victim Support as well as Employee Assistance Programs.
